Maxi men go back to work

DAILY EXPRESS

The four-day-old strike by 50 men which stopped production of the Austin Maxi and Morris Oxford at Cowley, Oxford, ended yesterday. The men will get ex-gratia payments up to £35 to make up for their lost earnings when the management cut their piece-work supplement and night-shift allowance during a go-slow last year.
