BMC memo

20 June 1961

BMC MEMO
From : Alec Issigonis
To : W.H. Davis

In reply to your memorandum of 15 June we have decided that we shall only need ten ADO50 cars for demonstration purposes on the 17 July ( five Morris and five Austin ) , which will very much simplify your problem of meeting the requirements for this date. As you probably know, the vehicle will not be released until some unspecified time after this meeting, the date being dependent upon the time taken by Production to build up adequate stocks.
