Morris strike

More than 1,500 employees at the Morris Commercial factory, Adderley Park, were sent home yesterday because of a strike by 136 inspectors. Production of vans and commercial vehicles was virtually at a stop and more men would probably have to be sent home today, said a British Motor Corporation official.
