My car was damaged whilst unattended - how can I claim for the damage?

Another vehicle reversed into my car at a motorway service station car park and drove off without attempting to leave any details. However, I have his registration and two independent witnesses. Damage is probably £400 - should I claim via my comprehensive insurance policy or should I use County Court?

You can use Just Cause to get the keeper's details from the DVLA, then use www.moneyclaim.gov.uk to issue proceedings against the keeper of the car. Make sure you get CCTV footage of the incident from the filling stations otherwise you have no proof.
