Why isn't my Toyota Corolla Verso's rear screen washer working?

My Toyota Corolla Verso's rear screen washer isn't working. I've checked the nozzle and that is clear. I am only getting small amounts of foam and no water when operating the stalk switches. It has worked in the past, but I don't use it all that much. Are you aware of any common problems before I take it to my local garage?

The washer tube to the rear of the car may be trapped and pinched somewhere. The most likely place is between the rear hatch and the body of the car.
