I want to buy a compact and reliable people carrier. Can you recommend a reliable model? I want to run it for 10 years.

Mazda 5, often at bargain prices, offers an excellent compromise between comfort and handling. More expensive, the new Volkswagen Golf SV is very good as long as you avoid DSG automatics.
