I've been driving continuously for 56 years without a claim - is this a record?

I note that on April 7 you printed a letter from JMS who reported he'd been driving 55 years and never claimed on insurance or had a claim against him. He'd just renewed a fully comprehensive policy for him and his wife for £270. You asked if anyone could beat that.

I've been driving for a year longer than him, and otherwise have same circumstances and have just renewed with LV at £212.57, which was an increase of £1.07 on last year. Looking back I noticed that I was paying more than that in 2001.
