Buying a crossover, or 2WD with 4x4 body. Which has best petrol engine?
I want to buy a new crossover, or 2WD with 4x4 body as I like the high seating position. I am retired and do little motorway driving so I want a petrol engine to avoid DPF problems. All reviews for these cars seem to recommend diesel engines, which have good petrol engines please?

Probably the new Toyota RAV-4 2.0i Valvematic Multidrive S, which is 4WD. Honda does a 2WD CR-V 2.0i auto but it's not really powerful enough. Mazda doesn't do a CX-5 2.0i auto.
