Will the 2012 Civic be available with a petrol engine and automatic gearbox?

Is the 2012 Civic to be a diesel-engined car only? Is there to be a petrol version? And an automatic one?

Yes, there will be 1.8 petrol and 1.4 petrol versions. Also, late next year, a smaller capacity diesel as well as the 110g/km 2.2 diesel. And yes, there will also be a 1.8 torque converter automatic.
