Does Shell V-Power give better diesel fuel economy than BP Ultimate?

I have usually used only BP Ultimate diesel in my Land Cruiser, but I have recently tried the Shell V-Power diesel. I am not totally sure but I appear to be getting a couple of miles per gallon extra with the Shell diesel. What do you advise on this matter? Am I better to stick with BP Ultimate or is the Shell diesel just as good?

I always did better on BP Ultimate diesel than on Shell V-Power diesel (the opposite is true of petrol). But I just got 41mpg over 692 miles from a Jaguar XJL 3.0V6 diesel on Shell Fuelsave diesel, which is pretty incredible for a 17-foot 3-inch limo.
