Should I use premium fuel in my Honda Jazz Hybrid?

After many Honda Civics that never went wrong, the new one is too big now so I am getting a Honda Jazz EX to mimic the "glide silence" of my Honda E for longer journeys. This has an Atkinson cycle engine that will be mostly for charging for my driving since the Jazz spends more time in electric than other small hybrids. Is there any point in putting premium fuel into the Jazz from the point of view of detergents etc with this type of engine?

As the Jazz can stay in electric mode during stop/start town driving it puts less load and stress on its engine, which is already at a fairly low tune. We'd say it's not really worth bothering with premium fuel for it, although the odd tankful can help clear carbon deposits as the car gets older.
