One two many

I have three cars to sort out since my husband’s recent death
1. 2005 Citroen Picasso 1.6 HDI Exclusive with glass roof. 45,000 miles. 2. 2003 Honda Jazz 1.4 SE 61,000 miles. 3. 1926 Austin Clifton 12/4 in my late husbands ownership for 50 years (and only the 2nd owner). Both 1 and 2 need MOT, tax and service this month. I do about 10,000 - 12,000 miles /year and need something that is a good
all rounder. I don’t know which is the best bet: To part exchange 1 and 2 for a new Hyundai i10 or i20 (I have been offered an i20 for both + £1,500). To keep the Jazz and sell the Picasso? To keep the Picasso and sell the Jazz? Or to keep them both because neither are worth very much? I bought the Jazz in your recommendation in the Telegraph – and I love it. I’m thinking of the Hyundai also because of your recommendation, so you see it’s your problem really.

No point in keeping both. You can't drive two cars. Swapping to an i20 1.2 gets you astonishing economy, low tax and no worries with its 5 year warranty. Test at video test at:

Test of i10 at:

The i10 is certainly more fun.
Your Picasso should trade at about £4,500 and the Jazz at about £3,000, so if you are being offered a £9,500 i20 1.2 Comfort 5-dr, then it's a reasonable deal.
Dear Honest John,
