Will my DPF get blocked if I don't use my car while in lockdown?

Will it harm my DPF filter if I don't use my diesel car at all during coronavirus lockdown?

Due to the lockdown conditions it is not possible to drive the sort of distances (15+ miles per journey) that are required for the DPF to regenerate and burn off the harmful soot that has accumulated. I would recommend using your car for short essential journeys (to buy food or travel to work) and then using it on a long 45-50 minute drive when the coronavirus lockdown has ended.
