Spare partial

Many cars (Golf, Audi TT) have no spare tyres. The can of sealant costs £45 (or £3 from cpc.co.uk) and once used, the tyres cannot be repaired, needing new replacement(s). What progress? Can Golf Mk4 emergency wheels be used legally?

You are preaching to the converter. What use is a can of glop and an
inflation kit on a shredded tyre? Yes, space saver emergency wheels can be used legally, up to 55mph, but they adversely alter the handling of the car and hugely increase the braking distance.
