I can't unlock the boot on my BMW 318ti - can you help?

I have a 1995 BMW 318ti with a manufacturer fitted alarm system. The lock system works with the remote along with the doors but I am suddenly locked out of the boot. The doors work fine but I cannot unlock the boot either with the remote or with a key. The access into the boot can be by folding the back seat.

Unfortunately, this is a common fault with this generation of BMWs. Assuming it's not a broken relay, there are only two ways I know of fixing it. If you have folding rear seats you can climb in, remove the plastic panel and open the lock. Or you can drill the lock and replace it with a new one. We will make some inquiries and see if we can get a bit more information for you.
